I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, serving clients across the state of North Carolina. I have a Doctorate of Ministry as well as a master’s degree in marriage and family therapy. I am also trained in Gottman Couples Therapy and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) which are two of the most well-researched, evidence-based therapies in the world. Both help couples and individuals alike, so when we work together, you get the benefit of these services helping you.
As a clinician, I offer couples therapy, individual therapy and Gottman Workshops to help you get your life back on track. Let’s figure out which one is for you.

Many clients wonder what led me to become a therapist and I’m happy to share a bit of my journey with you. As you can imagine, my passion is to help couples develop a sense of closeness and partnership. We do this by helping each person in the partnership learn how to communicate their real needs. From that place, people grow in emotional healing and freedom. Once they reach this new place, deeper intimacy and closeness is possible at a level you’re likely not experiencing now.
Not surprisingly, the work I do for couples translates quite well to individuals too. So even if your partner won’t come to therapy, we can still work on you and getting your life in order. Some people seek therapy all on their own, with no ties to a relationship.
